Our Sources

Every fiqh answer Al-Umrah generates cites one or more of the sources listed below. The corpus is Hanafi-first for fiqh rulings, with multi-school coverage of Kitab al-Hajj so pilgrims following other madhabs can also verify the primary text. Sources are scored on a three-tier reliability scale: primary authority (rank 5), trusted secondary (rank 4), and baseline reference (rank 3). The retrieval system weights higher-ranked sources accordingly.
